Pathways Learning Experience
Pathways is an interactive and flexible online education program. Members improve their communication and leadership skills, while building confidence. Toastmasters International is an organization helping people across the world conquer their fears.

How it works
You guide your journey. As you progress through Pathways, you will practice and improve your communication and leadership skills. Every project has an assignment that concludes with you giving a speech.

Leadership and communication styles, the effect of conflict on a group, and the skills needed to defuse and direct conflict.
Engaging Humor
Understanding your sense of humor and how that sense of humor translates to engaging audience members. How to effectively use humor in a speech.
Motivational Strategies
Learning strategies for building connections with the people around you, understanding motivation, and successfully leading small groups to accomplish tasks.
Persuasive Influence
Learning how to negotiate a positive outcome together with building strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills.

Toastmasters updated its Pathways platform and simplified the program to six core Paths above. Legacy Paths begun before the update in 2024, can still be accessed through the updated Base Camp to finish your projects and earn credit.

The Navigator
The Navigator is an online resource filled with essential information about the Toastmasters journey and the Toastmasters Pathways learning experience.

Base Camp is your online gateway to Pathways where you will find tools to help you every step of the way.

Recognition
You will receive badges and printable certificates when you complete each level. When you complete Level 5, you receive the Proficient designation, an award that marks your path’s completion.
